Dairy Days 2013- Post Farms

Kinderfarmin'

This annual event, held every June, gives kindergarten students in Genesee County the opportunity to see a working dairy farm. At this event students learn how cows are milked, what cows eat and how they are taken care of on the farm. There are other learning stations where students can learn about a wide variety of topics including recycling, solar energy, soils and farm animals. This hands-on event, run by industry professionals, provides an opportunity for students and teachers to learn about one of Genesee County's largest industries - Agriculture.

Contact the Genesee County Farm Bureau for information about attending and/or volunteering. 585-343-3489.
