Food, Land, and People
Food, Land, and People, a nonprofit organization, envisions a future in which all people recognize the interdependence of agriculture, the environment, and human needs and work cooperatively to enhance sustainable agricultural practices and informed consumer choices.
Project Food, Land & People curriculum serves Pre-K to 12th grade students and consists of 55 hands-on lessons, developed and tested by more than a thousand educators. The subjects range from environmental science and stewardship to human populations and land use. The lessons are aligned with NYS Learning Standards in all curriculum areas.
New York State Ag in the Classroom (NYAITC) is the state affiliate agency for Food, Land, and People in New York.
