The Northwest New York Dairy, Livestock and Field Crops Program is directly affiliated with Cornell University's Department of Animal Science and Pro-Dairy. This affiliation allows the team to provide the latest research-based knowledge regarding the dairy, livestock and field crops industries.

Lake Plains Vegetable Program specialists provide up-to-date information regarding commercial upland and muck vegetable production and storage as well as information on controlling pests through an Integrated Pest Management approach. Specialists teach the latest conserving, progressive, productive and profitable management practices while also keeping producers informed of new crop variety trials and demonstrate optimum yield, quality and pest tolerance.
