Meet Celina, our 4H Youth Development Educator. Celina has a Masters in Counselor Education and Human Services and over 20 years in Education. She enjoys spending time at home with her husband, 3 girls, and her rescue dog Bernie. Loves to read, walk, and enjoys live music of any kind. Celina is excited to be educating children about the many wonderful agriculture resources surrounding us in Genesee County.

Meet Melissa Keller, 4-H Youth Development Educator. Melissa comes to us with a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science and Agriculture Business. Melissa was an active Genesee County 4-H member and Volunteer before stepping into this role and truly loves the county and state programs! Melissa is excited to work with families and volunteers to enrich their program experiences and help them create lifetime skills and memories. When Melissa is outside the office she enjoys spending time with her family, her dog, Milo, baking, and traveling to fairs and expositions!

Meet Kim, our new Nutrition Educator for the Building Healthy Habits program. Kim has been as a licensed veterinary technician for over 25 years where her work experience includes a career in veterinary academia at Cornell University and the University of California. She has worked with children as a substitute K-12 teacher in the last 10 years. She has 3 children and 1 dog at home. Her free time is spent with her family at sporting events or kayaking with her fiancé, being outside in nature, and trying new foods. Kim is passionate about helping families in this Expanded Food & Nutrition Program – teaching how to stretch limited-resources & increase their knowledge of food choices that will lead to lifelong healthy habits.

Elizabeth holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from SUNY Brockport and is currently working towards completing an Associate’s in Horticulture at Niagara CCC. As our new Administrative Assistant, she is dedicated to supporting each program in any way she can while learning how they serve the Genesee community. Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys crafting, gardening, and exploring new adventures with her two dogs, Odin and Basil.

Meet Austin, our new SNAP Ed Nutrition Educator at CCE Genesee. Austin comes to us with an Associate’s in Applied Science from Genesee Community College and has worked for and with companies such as Center for Disability Rights and People Inc. for over half a decade. Austin looks forward to educating our community on the importance of nutrition and physical activity. When he’s not in the office, Austin spends his free time tuning and working on his project cars for fun weekend drives with his dog Winston and spending time with friends & family. Austin is very enthusiastic about being able to serve his community!
