June 19 | 6:00–8:00 PM | Stafford Methodist Church
Canning jams and jellies is an easy, fast, and fun way to preserve fresh fruit! Join us for a hands-on workshop series where you’ll learn the basics of canning—including equipment, food safety, and step-by-step jam and jelly making. Each session features a different recipe and style of preserve.
This session: Strawberry Jam
In this hands-on class, participants will prepare a traditional sugar/pectin jam using fresh strawberries. Instruction and recipes will also be provided for frozen strawberry jam and low/no sugar options. Students will practice skills through guided demonstrations and will take home some of what they make.
