Capture the taste of summer with this hands-on tomato canning workshop! Whether you’re a home gardener with an abundant harvest or just want to learn how to safely preserve tomatoes, this class will guide you through the entire process—from preparation to storage.

  • Safe techniques using both water bath and pressure canners
  • Managing acidity to preserve flavor and safety
  • Best practices for storing canned tomatoes

Instructor: Catherine Johnston, Master Food Preserver Volunteer with Genesee County Cornell Cooperative Extension, brings decades of experience in food preservation education.
