Master Preserver Canning Series: Hot Pepper Jam

Turn up the heat in your kitchen with this flavorful and fun canning class! Learn how to safely prepare and process a variety of hot peppers into a sweet and spicy jam—perfect served over cream cheese as a crowd-pleasing appetizer. Protective gloves will be required for all participants, and step-by-step instruction will be provided throughout the class.

Class size is limited to 12 adults. Pre-registration and payment are required. No walk-ins.

Instructor: Catherine Johnston, Master Food Preserver Volunteer with Genesee County Cornell Cooperative Extension. Catherine brings over 38 years of teaching experience and is certified through Cornell’s Master Food Preserver program.
