Thomas Keele Memorial Livestock Award
The Thomas Keele Memorial 4-H Livestock Award recognizes a 4-H member who has excelled with a 4-H Beef and/or 4-H Swine Project. The award is made possible by donations made in memory of Thomas Keele.

2024: Cody Carlson
Cody's favorite part about showing beef and swine is the amount of work ethic it takes to be successful when showing and the bond you create with the animal throughout the year. Cody's accomplishments include multiple Grand and Reserve Champion projects in 2019 -2024, with the most recent win of Grand Champion Market Hog in 2024. Cody also exhibits his projects at many regional livestock shows including The Stockyard Classic where he was named 4th Overall Intermediate Showman, 3rd overall Market Hog and 3rd Overall Champion Market Steer at their spring and summer shows!

2023: Madelynn Pimm
Madelynn's favorite part about showing beef and swine is constantly learning and making new connections. She also enjoys meeting new people and getting to connect with them over agriculture. Her accomplishments include winning Grand Champion 4-H Hog Showman at the Genesee County Fair last year and winning her 4-H Beef Showmanship class at this year's fair. Madelynn has shown her beef cattle all over the region.
2022: Colten Sugg
Colten is a member of the 4-H Beef Club and 4-H Chops & Hocks Club. In 2022, Colten exhibited his beef cattle at the New York State Fair, NYJBPA Spring Preview, Genesee County Fair and Keystone International Livestock Expo. Colten's favorite part about showing beef is "Presenting the animal and having as much fun as he can have in the show arena."
